Jason was raised in South St. Louis. He graduated from St. Louis University with a degree in Clinical Laboratory Science and later earned a Certificate in Brewing Technology from Siebel Institute.
Jason is another home brewer that turned his passion for beer and science into a carreer. He became a “friend“ of the brewery in 2009 and could be found helping out from time to time cleaning kegs and bottling. He started full time in 2011. In addition to brewing, Jason runs our quality assurance program.
Jason has worked in a variety of labs for the past ten years including some local hospitals, quality assurance at AB-InBev, and in chemistry and microbiology at the USDA Food Safety Inspection Service. He has also repaired broken water mains and fire hydrants for the St. Louis County water company, installed vinyl fences, and sold and repaired watches.
In his spare time Jason can be found running around South St Louis, brewing at home or playing as much golf as he can fit in. He also may or may not have claimed to be a Jedi Brewer!
