O’Fallon Brewery introduces four new pumpkin beers
SAINT LOUIS (Aug. 12, 2016): O’Fallon Brewery, one of the largest and first craft breweries in the St. Louis area, has launched four new pumpkin beers just in time for autumn. The new beers, Vanilla Pumpkin, Jack O’Latté, Apple Cinnamon Pumpkin and Peach Pumpkin, are now available at retail locations for a limited time in a 12-pack pumpkin variety pack.
“Thirteen years ago, we were the first brewery in St. Louis to brew a pumpkin beer,” said Jim Gorczyca, O’Fallon Brewery president and CEO. “Our new pumpkin lineup continues O’Fallon’s tradition of innovation by using unique ingredients to create an unforgettable beer experience. These are the perfect beers to enjoy around a fire pit with friends or tailgating before a game. We’re excited to capture the spirit of the season with these new beers, and we can’t wait for people to try them.”
O’Fallon’s Pumpkin Pack varietal includes three of each of the following beers:
- Vanilla Pumpkin: Cold-pressed Madagascar bourbon vanilla was added to O’Fallon’s traditional pumpkin amber ale to create a drinkable pumpkin pie a la mode. 5 percent ABV. 11 IBUs.
- Jack O’Latté: A pumpkin milk stout aged over coffee beans. Flaked oats, lactose and coffee malt accentuate its latté character. 6 percent ABV. 12 IBUs.
- Apple Cinnamon Pumpkin: An amber ale that is the perfect blend of apple and pumpkin pies. 2 percent ABV. 9 IBUs.
- Peach Pumpkin: A light and refreshing ale. The peach balances perfectly with traditional pumpkin spices to create this distinctive seasonal beer. 2 percent ABV. 9 IBUs.
In addition to the new pumpkin offerings, O’Fallon’s traditional seasonal favorites, O’Fallon Pumpkin Ale and O’Fallon Imperial Pumpkin, are now on sale. O’Fallon Pumpkin Ale is available in six-packs and 12-packs (glass) and on draft. O’Fallon Imperial Pumpkin is available in large single bottles (22 oz.). O’Fallon Vanilla Pumpkin is available in the variety pack and in six-packs. The beers are available to O’Fallon Brewery’s distribution network throughout the Midwest. Additionally, all of the beers will be served at O’Fallon’s O’Bar in Maryland Heights, Missouri.
“Brewing with pumpkin is tough but rewarding,” said Brian Owens, O’Fallon Brewery head brewer. “We use real pumpkin in our mash and whole spices to deliver layers of distinct flavors. With these new releases, we continue to explore and expand the possibilities of pumpkin beer. Once people try them, they’ll wish we brewed them all year long. Grab your variety pack while you can, they won’t last long!”
