O’Fallon Brewery opens new brewery in Maryland Heights
ST. LOUIS (June 22 2015): O’Fallon Brewery, one of St. Louis’ largest and oldest craft breweries, has opened its flagship brewery and tap room in Maryland Heights, Missouri.
“We’re really excited to show people the new brewery,” said Jim Gorczyca, O’Fallon Brewery president and CEO. “O’Fallon’s tremendous success today is a testament to the support we have received from St. Louis, and I couldn’t be more pleased for those who have worked over the last 15 years to build the O’Fallon brand name and see this dream of a new brewery come to life.”
The 40,000-square-foot brewery is located in Maryland Heights, Missouri, at 45 Progress Parkway and includes a new full-service restaurant featuring appetizers, flatbreads, burgers and sandwiches. O’Bar Grill and Tap Room will be a great place for beer enthusiasts to enjoy a wide variety of O’Fallon beers, including O’Fallon’s specialty brews which will only be available in the tap room.
The new brewery will have an annual brewing capacity of 25,000 beer barrels (344,500 cases).
“This expansion will not only allow us to get closer to meeting current demand, it will also serve as a showplace where consumers can meet our brewers and experience O’Fallon beers.” said Gorczyca. “As we continue to increase distribution we have room to double our capacity to approximately 50,000 barrels.”
“The new brewery is a dream come true for our team,” said Brian Owens, head brewer. “This will allow us to brew a wider variety of beer styles and help the St. Louis craft beer community grow while staying true to our brand of developing unique and award-winning beer.”
For 15 years O’Fallon Brewery has created award-winning beers for every taste and season. Beer fans can now enjoy O’Fallon beer seven days a week in the new O’Bar and Tap Room opened Sunday – Wednesday from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m., and Thursday – Saturday from 11 a.m. to midnight.
The brewery also will offer merchandise and brewery tours. Tours will not be available until this fall. O’Fallon Brewery will employ approximately 60 people at its Maryland Heights brewery in brewing, operations, front office and tap room.
